Project: Explorun

This is a project of the CIIS course (WS 2021/22). The content below was created by Andrej Garaj, Vivek Mahto, Carsten Schwenk.

Are you tired of running the same route again and again or are you new to an area and you don't where to run? Are these dilemmas not motivating you to get up and go for a run. Explorun to the rescue, just tell us your preferences and we will show you where to run.
Most traditional running apps just track your run and don't offer where to go. There are few running apps that recommend you routes directly from the database, these are pre-created and offer very limited routes depending on the area.
With Explorun we generate routes for you on the fly, doesn't matter where you are, doesn't matter if you like running in cities or in suburbs, u like running in busy areas or in quiet areas, u prefer forests or you like to go wild. We will create routes tailor-made just for you.

We are following simple steps to create routes for you.
=> Just login and set the preferences.

=> Then we generate routes for you where we

- Generate multiple routes as per your location.
- Extract features from these routes.
- Match these routes features with your choosen preferences and find the best 8 for you.

=> If you want to try routes with different preferences you can tap on the custom routes and provide the custom preferences and we generate what you like.

Explorun is intelligent, it keeps adapting to your feedback. Every time you give a feedback after a run. We will adjust your preferences and next time we show you the adapted routes.

So are going to keep reading or are you going to take out those shoes from the closet and try a new route with Explorun.
